At Early Education Development Academy LLC, we specialize in coaching, consulting and classes that engage and empower educators in order to enhance their practices.
We offer a unique 1st year Educator program. Is has been developed to support first year educators. It uses 3 individual coaching sessions and small group coaching sessions where staff can learn, plan, implement in the classroom, reflect and get feedback from their peers.
This approach has helped new staff feel supported and better prepared for the field of teaching. It has improved staff satisfaction and staff retention.

Our mission is to equip educators and leaders with the necessary tools to create supportive, resilient environments that promote continuous improvement and staff retention.
Joyce Tangen
Joyce Tangen is an experienced early childhood leader and coach with over 37 years in the field. Her career spans roles as a teacher, family service worker, center manager, education manager, and program director, giving her a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to build strong, effective programs.
Joyce specializes in supporting leaders and educators through coaching, mentorship, and strategic guidance. She is passionate about helping organizations strengthen their teams, improve program quality, and create environments where both staff and children can thrive.
With a background in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, and Leadership, Joyce brings a practical, relationship-centered approach to her work—focused on empowering people, building capacity, and driving meaningful, sustainable change.
